I love non-chain breakfast places. And that is exactly what Northern Lights Cafe is. They serve the best breakfast in South East Boise. We went there today and enjoyed a Salmon Scrambler. It’s scrambled eggs, country potatoes, tomatoes, black olives, salmon and cream cheese. Wow, it’s so good. I’ve been eating at the Northern Lights here in Boise since we moved to this side of town in October. I love it so much we eat there about every 3 weekends. I got the salmon scrambler for $8 - which I think is really reasonable for salmon anything. I’ve also tried their biscuits and gravy and stuffed french toast which are both outstanding.

They are also open for lunch and dinner on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I haven’t been there for dinner but the menu looked great. The dinner menu looked a bit pricier but the quality of meals also looked quite nice.

The Northern Lights Cafe is located in a strip mall by the Tuesday Morning off Apple and Boise Ave. You have to try it!
